MONUMENTAL RUSSIAN JEWELED SILVER KOVSH Unrecorded maker, St. Petersburg, 1908 – 1917 The lower body fluted to simulate riveted planks of wood, the textured upper body chased with scrolling foliage and cabochon-set with red and blue pastes, front centered by a part red-enameled coin of Empress Anna Ivanovna, the angular handle set with oval hardstone boss, four small drop ring handles to sides, gilt interior Marked VK and 84 Russian silver standard, scratched inventory number 4637 Length 14 3/4 in. (37,5 cm) CONDITION: Some scratching to the bottom, light wear consistent with age,  good overall condition. Item Nr. 979
