The Rabbit-Labs PermaMark™ Hacker Inside Decal is a premium, full-color transfer decal – engineered to bond to damn near any hard surface and stay there. Glass. Metal. Ceramic. Plastic. Polycarbonate laptop shells. Powder-coated cases. Pelican lids. Toolboxes. Tumblers. If it’s smooth and solid, this decal locks on like firmware to flash memory. Every PermaMark™ is printed in full multi-tone color – every color transition and fine detail in the original artwork transfers with zero compromise. This isn’t a washed-out one-color screen print. This is the artwork, as it was meant to be seen, in full spectral fidelity. This isn’t some gas-station sticker that peels at the corners after a week in the sun. The PermaMark™ is UV-proof and water-resistant – rated for prolonged outdoor exposure without fading, cracking, or yellowing. Sun, rain, sleet – it doesn’t care. The colors stay as vivid as the day you applied it, whether it’s riding on the lid of your go-bag or slapped on the back window of your daily driver. Once applied, only the graphic remains – precision die-cut to the exact contour of the image. No rectangle. No visible background. No white border. No carrier material. Rep the lab. Mark your gear. Signal the network. ▌README.TXT – APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS Before you begin: Ensure your target surface is clean, dry, and free of dust, oil, or residue. Isopropyl alcohol (90% ) and a lint-free cloth are recommended for surface prep. Ambient temperature should be above 50°F / 10°C for optimal adhesion. Step 1: Separate Carefully peel the decal transfer sheet away from the paper backing. The decal graphic will remain adhered to the clear transfer film. Step 2: Position & Apply Place the transfer film (decal side down) onto your target surface. Start from one edge and slowly lay it down to minimize trapped air bubbles. You get one shot at placement – reposition carefully before pressing down. Step 3: Burnish Using the edge of a credit card, gift card, or similar flat tool, firmly smooth over the entire decal from the center outward. Apply even, firm pressure. This bonds the graphic to the surface and forces out any remaining air. Step 4: Peel & Reveal Slowly peel the clear transfer film away at a sharp angle (close to 180°). Pull low and slow – not straight up. If any part of the decal lifts with the film, press it back down, re-burnish that area, and try again. Step 5: Final Press Once the transfer film is removed, go over the decal one more time with your card edge to ensure full contact and edge adhesion. PRO TIP: For curved surfaces (tumblers, bottles, helmets), a brief pass with a heat gun or hair dryer on low after application helps the adhesive fully conform and lock in. ▌DEBUG LOG – TROUBLESHOOTING ISSUE: Air bubbles trapped under the decal. FIX → Use a pin or fine needle to puncture the bubble at its edge, then smooth toward the puncture with a card to evacuate the trapped air. Small bubbles (<2mm) typically self-resolve within 24–48 hours. ISSUE: Decal lifts off the surface when removing transfer film. FIX → The decal hasn’t fully bonded. Press the film back down, re-burnish with firm pressure, and wait 2–5 minutes before attempting removal again. On porous or textured surfaces, additional burnishing time may be required. ISSUE: Edges are peeling or curling after application. FIX → Surface may have had residual oil, dust, or moisture. Clean the exposed area around the lifted edge with isopropyl alcohol, press the edge back down, and burnish firmly. If the edge won’t re-adhere, a tiny drop of clear adhesive (e.g., Loctite Vinyl/Fabric/Plastic adhesive) can be applied under the lifted portion. ISSUE: Decal won’t adhere to the surface at all. FIX → Some surfaces resist adhesion: silicone, unsealed raw wood, heavily textured/matte finishes, oily or waxy coatings, and flexible/soft rubber. This decal is designed for hard, smooth, non-porous surfaces. Ensure the surface is thoroughly cleaned and dried before retrying. ISSUE: Colors appear faded or washed out on arrival. FIX → This should not occur under normal conditions. If the product arrives visually degraded, contact Rabbit-Labs support for a replacement. Do not apply a defective decal. ▌SYS.WARN – WARNINGS, HAZARDS & DISCLAIMERS Surface Compatibility: This decal is engineered for hard, smooth, non-porous surfaces. Application to fabric, leather, skin, silicone, unsealed wood, or heavily textured surfaces is not recommended and may result in poor adhesion or decal damage. Rabbit-Labs LLC is not responsible for unsatisfactory results on incompatible surfaces. Semi-Permanent Application: This is a semi-permanent decal. While it can be removed, removal may leave adhesive residue and could potentially damage delicate surface finishes (e.g., matte coatings, soft-touch plastics, painted surfaces, vehicle clear coat). Test in an inconspicuous area first if surface damage is a concern. Rabbit-Labs LLC is not liable for damage to surfaces resulting from application or removal of this product.
