Description Product Description Enterosgel is an oral suspension for the symptomatic treatment of acute diarrhoea and chronic diarrhoea associated with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). Enterosgel is an oral intestinal adsorbent. It is based on organic minerals with adsorption capacity towards some toxic and harmful substances in the gut (e.g. endotoxins, enterotoxins), physically binding them to its surface, reducing stool frequency and duration of diarrhoea. Enterosgel is expelled from the body with the stool, eliminating the adsorbed toxins and harmful substances, which can be beneficial for treating indicated conditions of acute diarrhoea and chronic IBS diarrhoea. Enterosgel is free from preservatives, gluten, sugar, sweeteners, lactose, fat, flavours, colouring, and plant or animal-derived ingredients. Directions Take Enterosgel treatment 2 hours before or after a meal. Shake the tube well before opening. Dilute the dose in water at room temperature prior to its administration. How to take Enterosgel Dilute the recommended dose in 100ml of water and drink 1-2 hours before or after a meal or taking medications. Children 1-6 years old : 1 teaspoon or 1/3 of a sachet diluted in 50-100ml of water 3 times a day For children 7-14 years old: old 2 teaspoons or 2/3 of a sachet diluted in 50-100ml of water 3 times a day For children 15 and adults: 1 ? 1.5 table spoon or 1 ? 1.5 sachet diluted in 200ml of water 3 times a day Always check the label before taking any new medicine. It is important to take plenty of fluids during treatment of diarrhoea. During treatment of chronic IBS diarrhoea stop taking Enterosgel, if you do not have a bowel movement for 1-2 days, increase water intake and continue the treatment after the next bowel movement. Warnings Do not take Enterosgel if you have intestinal atony (severe constipation due to bowel obstruction), intestinal blockage, intolerance based on prior use of Enterosgel, or if you are currently using modified-release orally administrated medications.
