1991 Fender Custom Shop James Jamerson 1962 Precision Bass Tribute

This is a very rare 1991 Fender Custom Shop James Jamerson Tribute P-Bass in Sunburst. This was a very small run built by the Custom Shop for the Bass Centre in Los Angeles who commissioned a run of P-Basses to celebrate the all-time great bassist. This is serial number 026 out of only 100 built, though the Custom Shop has said that its likely less than 50 were actually made.The bass is in very clean condition; there’s some warped areas of the pickguard near the neck heel and pickup. The bass has light wear on the body and a nicely worn-in feel to the maple neck. It’s set up with flatwound strings (as it should be!) and includes the original case with the two COAs from Fender Custom and the Bass Centre.
