Description Product Description Ensure Compact is a low volume, high energy 125ml ready to drink, milkshake style nutritional supplement for the dietary management of patients with, or at risk of developing, disease-related malnutrition. Each serving contains 300kcal, 12.8g protein and 28 vitamins and minerals. Its small volume has been specially developed for people who have difficulty drinking larger volumes or who have a poor appetite. Food for Special Medical Purposes, for use under medical supervision. Suitable as a nutritional supplement or sole source of nutrition for patients who cannot or will not eat sufficient quantities of everyday food and drink to meet their nutritional needs (excluding fluid requirements). Nutritionally complete for vitamins and minerals in 625 ml, excluding sodium, potassium, chloride and magnesium. Note: nutritionally complete volumes are calculated using the UK Reference Nutrient Intake for men aged 19-50 years.
